Summer Bone poster

This is a poster designed for a trombone concert that called Summer Bone.The trombone is changed to a shape of shower stand and the background used beach to show the freshness of summer. I have thought about the shape of trombone is kinda changed too much that people may cant recognise the main purpose of the poster, but the organiser think it's nice and people who see this poster are those coming for the concert, so no worry, then this is the final work.In addition, it's hard to decide everything without the guidance of tutor :[

Since I was super hungry that night n didn't wanna sleep yet, so I have spent around 5 mins to draw this :P super rough n draft, just for fun n practise the tablet ...

周末畫報

Have bought a digital tablet these days, and it's super hard to handle for me, but I still find it interesting. Still hvn't figured out the brushes things... anyway, pictures below are drawn for the campaign for promoting a song of my favourite singer - fiona sit. It's abt love, holiday, freedom or summer :]

Paper Roll

I have found that there are some people using paper roll to make some artworks on the internet, so, as yesterday was mother's day, I have tried this things and gave it to my mum as the present :P Since it's my very first time to make these things, it's not good i know lol but should be a good try though :DD

Image and Type Experiment

These are the assignments experiments for the course Image and type, which is aimed to show who I am. I called it as experiments because these are not very finished and it's kinda my experiments for using photoshops. Im glad that i know more photoshops after the assignment, but still not good. :P

I do not talk much.

The poster aims to show I am a talkative person. In the poster, the conversation bubble is so long that it exceeded the screen and even out of the poster, this shows I can talk relentlessly and might even break rules. The scenario could take place in a lecture hall becasue that is where I kept on talking - especially during boring classes. The background is a little blurred to allow the conversation bubble stands out. For the title, lie is being used. “I do not talk much” means that I did not actually talk but I texted in the poster. The font of the title used chalk to match with the background. Also, surrealism and exaggeration have been used to make the aim more apparent.

I cant stand being alone.Obvious, it's like the title, i cant resist loneliness... And alone make me feel like i m at the edge of the cliff and going to fall down, need somebody to come and save me. The cliff used silhouette of a sad face :P and make the girl smaller help to show the loneliness... i think lolFinal:Before: 

My mind is messy

There are always so much stuff in my head, and so I reveal it like the hoodie is downed lol 

Simple concept, simple drawing to show the contrast. Used a wrinkled paper as the background to intimate when I write, the paper should be so unclean because I have to erased my text so many times to organise my mind.

To show my hurt is hurt before, and i try to cover it.

Try to figure out what is unnatural here :P It's the blanket hv changed to the texture of plaster! ha!

Illustration Friday - Urban

Just a 5-mins sketch with pencil, have been in my mind for a few days, but no time to draw and complete it as a picture, but still adorable huh? :P

I always hope I can be like a dinosaur and ruin the whole urban city when i watch the anime, Ultraman Tiga, should feel really great  (I am such a evil human being :P) 

Illustration friday - Egg

First time to submit drawing to IF, so excited :D

Not a good one though... totally show how bad my watercolour and colour pencil skills are...

It's about a chick staying inside the eggshell, and don't wanna go outside. We often look at the outside of egg, but never look from the inside. Eggshell is like the protective zone and home, I often wanna stay in the shell and not to get in touch with the world, just like the chick inside. And I remember my first day going to kindergarten, i keep askin my mum "can I not go outside?" I just wanna hide in my home and my shell. :[

But sure, the world outside is colourful and cheerful, so chick! Let's go outside and explore! :D
